Fair Use Policy

Phronesis Executive Intelligence is built for unlimited professional use by high capacity leaders. This Fair Use Policy explains what that means in practice, including the automatic safeguards that keep the Service fast and dependable for everyone who relies on it.

What Fair Use Means

Your subscription covers the professional work you need to accomplish. This includes drafting documents, analyzing contracts, synthesizing research, creating presentations, strategic planning, project management, and any other professional use of the Phronesis intelligence system. Unlimited describes how the plan is meant to be used. It does not mean the Service operates without limits, and the limits that do apply are described below.

What Fair Use Does Not Include

Fair use does not extend to activities that fall outside the scope of individual professional usage. This includes sharing account credentials with multiple users, using a single subscription to serve an entire team or organization, using the Service primarily for bulk automated processing without meaningful human engagement, reselling or redistributing Phronesis outputs as a commercial service, using the Service to build, train, or benchmark competing AI products, or any use designed to deliberately exhaust system resources rather than accomplish professional work.

How Usage Is Measured

Phronesis records the volume and cost of the work each account runs, including requests, document and media generation, and processing intensity, so that the safeguards below can be applied. We do not read or review the content of your documents, conversations, or projects to do this. Your Settings page shows your usage for the current month.

Automatic Safeguards

Two safeguards apply automatically, without anyone reviewing your account first. Each subscription includes a monthly usage budget. When an account reaches it, Phronesis keeps working for the rest of the month on a more efficient model, engineering and code work is not moved to that model, and full capability returns on the 1st of the following month. Separately, very high volume within a single day can pause responses until the following day. The monthly usage budget applies to subscriptions. Pay as you use accounts are billed for what they use and are not subject to it.

If Usage Appears Unusual

If usage looks inconsistent with individual professional use, such as credential sharing or bulk automated processing, we may contact you to discuss it, and we may suspend or restrict access as described in the Terms of Service. We understand that some professionals have legitimately intensive workflows, particularly during high volume periods such as litigation, capital campaigns, or strategic planning cycles, and we are glad to talk through yours.
